Restaurants Expect To See a Holiday Surge

Consumer confidence has increased significantly from last year’s holiday season as more and more Americans are getting vaccinated.

83% of Americans are planning to dine out during this holiday season and 84% of restaurants expect to meet or even exceed 2019 levels during this time period. 33% of restaurants are expecting to see a return of corporate holiday parties as well.

However, the continued labor shortages will make it difficult for operators to navigate the seasonal surge. The high volume of customers are raising stress for the remaining workers contributing to the all time high quit rate industry wide.
